Tour Description

The passengers will be picked up at their accommodations in Punta Arenas early in the morning so that the whole group will be present at the Tres Puentes pier at 08:30 am. The cruise starts at 09:30 am by Ferry “Australis …” that will cross the Strait of Magellan in 1 hour and a half. We will arrive to the island of Tierra del Fuego about 10:30 am at the pier of Bahía Chilota in the town of Porvenir. We will visit some tourist points and go to the Fernando Cordero Ruesque historical museum (entrance not included). We will also have time for lunch in the same town.

The next destination will be King Penguin Park – to arrive there we will travel for about 1 and a half hours along Bahía Inútil and the park ranger will be waiting to welcome us and explain everything related to the park and this beautiful animal.

We will stay for about 1 hour in the park. Then we will go to the town of Primera Angostura to take the Ferry (navigation of 20 minutes app). Again on the continent, on our way back to Punta Arenas we will visit the Estancia San Gregorio, founded by Jose Menendez. It is supposed to be one of the first models of agro-industrial management dedicated to sheep farming, wool and leather production.

Our tour ends in Punta Arenas at 9:00 p.m. app.
